NEW YORK, April 20, 2010 — Fraud is driving up the cost of auto insurance for New York state drivers, particularly those who live in New York City’s five boroughs, resulting in some honest drivers paying premiums that are four times higher than the state average, according to the ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ Information Institute (I.I.I.).
