— Consumers with questions about auto, homeowners and business insurance can call a special phone line, hosted by WXTV Univision 41, the evening of Wednesday, November 16 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Bilingual volunteers from the ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ Information Institute ( I.I.I. ) and the (L.A.B.A.) will be available to answer questions and provide information about insurance coverage.Ìý

The insurance helpline was created due to the high number of Hispanic consumers in the tri-state area requesting information regarding their insurance in the wake of Hurricane Irene and the recent Halloween snowstorms.
Ìý
WXTV Univision 41’s news programs and segments, including , regularly inform and and empower consumers with resources and information—most recently those affected by disasters or other perils. To extend these efforts, WXTV Univision 41 will open up the phone lines to provide consumers with insurance related information. As a result, the tri-state community will have the opportunity to talk to knowledgeable volunteers and ask questions directly.Ìý
